People will support main stream artist just because of their name... But when it comes to us indie artist; we have to work twice as hard just to get any type of support.

Most of us are our own; labels, investors, professional and business management, marketing, promotional team, creative directors, booking agents, stylist, publicist, security, and personal assistants.... Plus we still have to be the artist; writing, recording, performing, doing interviews, meeting fans, signing autographs, rehearsing, and handling personal life.
I hear too often people say "Why would I support someone I don't know?" If knowing someone personally is all it takes to get support, than how many CDs/ Merchandise should you be returning right now?

RESPECT INDIE ARTIST because we have the best work ethic in the world. We put the same time, money, and quality into our music as other singers/musicians in our genre. We take on these responsibilities because we choose to not be controlled by the industry and what society says an "artist" is suppose to look or sound like.
Why not support that???
