Have you ever loved someone and had no idea how to let that someone know - beyond saying, "I love you"? I'm sure many have had their significant other angry at them only to wonder what they did to deserve the anger treatment. I myself had struggled with this and quite frankly still do. I have a great love for my wife but have come to realize I am not very good at showing it.
"How to Do I Love You" isn't a 'How to song'. In fact its a testimony of adjustment - of life. A reflection of real life and growth. A never ending struggle to shake selfish instincts not only to say "I love you", but to actually honor it by doing love and placing others before self.
