Here's a #LegalTidbit, Once music is fixed, meaning written, or recorded, whether a artist files for a copyright or not, A copyright is implied by law, I got that straight from a copyrights attorney. This doesn't mean a songwriter doesn't need to file for a music copyright, You still do, to avoid legal issues, but just because a artist hasn't copyrighted doesn't mean the law doesn't apply. Get your music Copyrighted, ASAP. Protect your #IntellectualProperty.
