Biography
Chris Stephen is East TN born and bred through and through. His family roots run through these mountains all the way back to the 1600’s; with a mix of Scottish and Cherokee blood. Appalachia and Country Music is in his soul, his style also carries an influence of Southern Rock and Bluegrass. Chris is an accomplished vocalist, songwriter, and musician on multiple instruments, as well as a Music Education Major at the University of TN. His love of family, God, strong friendships and a simple country life are his guiding values. Chris has a strong passion for everything outdoors, from hunting and fishing to hiking and kayaking. Equally important to him is his strong sense of freedom, liberty and patriotism. His passions and values and how they sometimes clash in today’s world, are often found in the heart of his music.
